Trying to finish up the major items left to complete the building. Got all the of the electrical done but the 220/240v stuff.
I went with 4 8ft t8 fixtures. I may still add a 5th between the doors since 2 of them are blocked when the garage doors are open.
The air compressor plumbing is still in the design stage, but I did get it at least inside the building.
I started building overhead cabinets last night. I am kinda winging these since its my first time I've tried to build metal cabinets I'm sure I will have to change some things. Ok I will quit typing and get some pics up.

Looks great Dunstin! I'm in SW TX and will be building myself a garage/shop similar to yours. Thanks for posting this! Did you stick with Metal Mart or go with somebody local?

I did go with the metal mart building. The cost without interior liner,windows, and garage doors was just over 6k including tax. This was just material. Labor to have it put up was $2700. I did the interior on my own. The garage doors were $2600 installed without openers. Windows were $80 each at lowes.
I'm happy with everything so far. The only thing that I didn't like was the raw I beam. It was not red primed like others I've seen. I just cleaned it and painted it white.

Build is coming along nicely! Im about to build my workbench and was considering the butcher block look by laminating a bunch of 2x4's. Looks like you kinda did that with yours; care to go into more detail regarding your process? Thanks and keep up the good work!

I really like your corner cabinet. After seeing it coming together, I assumed you'd be building a steel topped workbench as well.
