Coming along very nicely. Is this a custom building? My father built on almost 25 years ago himself and I would very much like/need to do the same. Local insurance regulations and building codes virtually make that impossible now.

Great looking build for do-it-yourself!! Love to the see strength of steel as skeleton of building.

Curious about "scoop out" area that is by each garage door when they poured the concrete. What does that do?

Is blue tank for water well or what?

What all planned for electric, heating/AC, air system, etc?

Keep the pics coming . . . looking good!

The Scoop out is just part of the entry way to the garage...helps keep water and dirt out if it comes a flood...

the blue tank is the pressure tank for the well...will be moved into the shop after I finish the floors

Heat will be a propane heater...probably rig up an ac at some point in the future ( thats what I do for a living)

Ill plumb it for air and water soon

Looks like a great shop. What do you plan to use it for / any interior sketches?

Using it as a general purpose shop/ to work on my car (52 Chevy)

More pics....

Heres the deal. I dont really care what the floor looks like... Im going to destory it anyway building cars, refinishing antiques, etc...

BUT

I got the above mentioned products for free from a family friend.
Its pretty awesome stuff. As you can see from the pic the finish in the concrete itself is pretty bad. But I like the look it has now. I looks like an old shop thats been through heck. It also doesnt help that I did alot of welding on it too.

The first pic is after the concrete densifier and a little bit of polishing:

then some sealer and more polishing...
