Looking for a little advice here. I am having a 24x32 pole barn put up this month in NJ and the PA builder quoted me $3200 for a 4” 4000psi fiber mesh reinforced floor, with my supplied stone below it. Is this a good price? What is going rate per sqft for this type of floor. I started calling around and already got a quote of $5500. Should I just go with the builders price, with me buying the stone base?

Good price! Spread your own stone and get the builders mason to pour the flat work. Some of these Pennsylvania contractors work cheaper than the NJ contractors but they will buy the concrete locally.
Right now good masons in the Central NJ area are very busy nowadays.

Chuckster... thank you for taking the time to reply. This is the direction I was leaning towards, I just didn’t know if I was missing something here. I’ll ask my builder, but would it be safe to assume I have to level and compact the stone and they will just pour the finish? Looking forward to my build this week.
