I finally broke ground on my garage this weekend. It's been my dream to build a small shop in my yard since I bought my house in 2011, and it's finally happening.
It will be a 24x32 with a 10' lean to on the long side so I can park a trailer / camper under there in the winter.
I seem to be the only "handy" person around, so will likely be doing most of the build by myself, and will bribe a couple neighbors to come over and help set the trusses.
I have a small attached garage, but extra space is needed because doing this *****:
The existing shed wasn't doing it... Smashy smashy.
Picked up the whole building in one trip! (minus trusses)
I was lucky enough to "borrow" an excavator from work, so I took advantage and got busy. First breaking ground
Topsoil stripped and piled for future grading on site.
Holes drilled
Concrete puck footers ready to be dropped in the holes.
