24x8 Insulated Garage Door

Just wondering if anyone use's a jack shaft lift for a insulated 24x8 garage door. If so, what brand and any issues due to the weight?

If the door springs are adjusted correctly the size and weight dosn't matter to the opener.

Thats not totally true... operators still need to get that weight moving and stopped...

most have a Square footage or maximum weight.

the basic answer is no it shouldnt be a problem, if installed correctly. And would be much more cost effective han the dual trolley you'd likely need for the 24' width
