The reviewer is wrong, the ends are aluminum, but have plastic coverings. All flexzilla hoses are like this.

I just picked up a FlexZilla 3/8" hose with 1/4" male connections that's 50ft from Sears for $29.72 + tax. The hose is currently on sale for $34.99 and I used a 15% off all air tools coupon.

As for the ends, when I first picked this hose up and looked them over, I thought they were plastic as well. I've never seen anything but brass on an air hose and since the ends were so light weight i can see how people thought they were plastic.

The hose works great for me so far and is fantastic when used with an HVLP gun and Milton V-Style hi-flo couplers. I plan on abusing this hose a lot in the coming week to see how it holds up.

Sears had Flexzilla whip hoses at my store for $7 and change each. I bought two 2' swivel whip hoses. I used them last weekend and they were great. I have a heavy rubber air hose and after adding the whips to the air tools, it almost feels like the tool is floating in air and not even connected to the hose. Very light and maneuverable. A couple times I looked back thinking the tool wasn't attached to the hose, it so light now. Really nice. The hose seems flimsy in the store, but when powered up with pressure they feel perfect.

I have the one with brass fittings and bought (free after points) another recently at sears with the aluminum fittings, both 50ft. I like them! My first one has lasted me around 3-4 years.

The 1/2" is overkill for me, but if you have a Menards near you, their standard price on the 3/8" x 50' is less than $30. I bought 3 from them, and also use them with the Milton V-Style hi-flo couplers.

Flexzilla 3/8" x 50' Air Hose
Model Number: HFZ3850YW2 | Menards® SKU: 2075204
$29.89

Was just about to post this. If you don't have a Menards nearby Sears will price match. Just print out the Menards page showing the price (or on your phone if you're not a cheap *** like me and have a smartphone). with $5 is surprise SYW rewards I was out the door for under $30.

So far I like it, not as impressed with the 'no memory' claim as I had hoped but it is light and really easy to work with. I'll be getting another one.

I guess the only negative I have about Flexzilla, is that pretty neon green is going to get dirty, greasy, and grimy after the first use. I used mine once, and it is not green anymore, it is black. It is a grease sponge that picks up everything it touches.

Mine is dirty just from dust/dirt on the ground, and it seems to be nearly unclean able. Stuff REALLY sticks to it. Great hose though.

These are awesome hoses! Its real nice how flexible they are when your used to the old red stiff hoses. I wonder if you could replace the hose on a retractable hose reel with these hoses? Has anyone tried it?

Flexzilla has a hose and reel set, its alright, big plastic housing though. What I really like are their garden hose's. Easy to deal with, easy to roll up, just don't leave 'em in the sun, the color will fade and turn a funky greenish white
