25" Harbor Freight Breaker Bars

I remember reading the Pittsburgh Pro breaker bars are stronger than the old ones, but when I was there today they were both Pitt Pro. One was comfort grip the other was regular, but they both had different heads. The comfort grip had the narrower head, while the other had that big, bulky block head. Is one better than the other? The comfort grip is the red tag. I think the red tag breaker bar is stronger, but I'm not a fan of the grip.

I don't know which is better or stronger. The comfort grip works well for me. One in the garage, and one in each of the vehicles.

I have the a couple of the old ones, at work and home, and have had no problem with either. The new breaker bar head is a copy of SO with the head inside of the mounts. The old version has the head outside the bar mounts. There is a video of a guy testing breaker bars and this is one difference he noted.

+1 on the comfort grip. I like them much better than the old ones.

I like the mounts on the outside the comfort grip has. I can see the other one twisting off very easily. Did he say which was better in the video?

I still own the older one with the fat head, I've removed stuck axle nuts with the old one and haven't broken it. I'm sure the head won't make a difference except where the point of failure will be versus the old one.

I just have the non-comfort grip one. I've put a lot of leverage on it and have yet to break it.
