I gotta to say I've ben less then impressed with the Tekton stuff I've received lately. Even to the point that the perceived value isn't worth the price of admission.

Several of their needle nose pliers and dikes in short/med and extra lengths cause I thought they were a good deal. They are very flexible and once even mildly tweaked are done. Where as the Astro stuff which is more or less the same price on sale is much better.

There's no doubt a few are gonna say they love the stuff and I'm happy they do. For myself, I'm 100% done with Tekton

I just picked up a pair of the 5 inch groove joint pliers from my local Meijer for $6 on sale. They are Wilde and are very nice- better in fact that the last pair of 4 inch Channellocks that I bought. Based on that I bought a pair of the 12 inch groove joint pliers from Amazon, with the 25% coupon they came out to $11.24 shipped. Hopefully they are as nice as the 5 inchers.

It looks like the only Tekton pliers made in the USA are the slip joints and groove joints. Hey Tekton, if you are listening, start sourcing more models from Wilde and people will buy 'em.

We always prioritize the best tool we can for the price point we are after, everything in balance. The reality is that the soil isn't what makes the best tool, the company is.

Anyone on here should know by now of our guarantee and I'd hope they would contact us if there was trouble with a tool of ours.

Thanks,

Dave
