Ecavating and levelling complete last week, radiant flooring installed. I do have a few concerns with the foundation and curb wall but discussing with building permit inspector.

Looks like a nice start. Floor heat too. What is your plan?

Just a quick description of what will be happening:

Yes, going with radiant and I have a boiler setup which is going to be a closed system with a Axiom feeder tank. (no water source). 5 loops in 1 zone .

Electrical/Wiring: will include exhaust fan for painting - 15 amp, 220V for welder, plasma cutter, pot lights on exterior mounted in sofit area, 220 V wiring for lift motor, boiler wiring. Standard electrical outlets and 8 fluorescant lights.

Gas: Getting gas line run to garage for boiler.

Framing : Doing the framing myself with a friend so hopefully have the major part of this stage completed in 2 weeks. With the interior 12 ft ceiling I was still able to put in a loft for storage. Access to attic will be either by motorized lift or drop down attic ladder.

Interior Layout:

On the right side of garage will be my 4 post lift. Not required to bolt down lift, so no chances of peircing a radiant line.

Left side will be daily driver parking. I have two 10ft wide x 9 ft high doors going in with the liftmaster system (high tracking) . Ceiling heights will be 12ft, and also thinking of doing the bulkhead(overhead storage) like hitByThunder's 24x24 Palace thread.

Work benches , tools, vises , tool cabinets will all be situated at the far wall where the radiant tube come up.

More to come:::

Got the walls up on the weekend between the rain and thunder storms. Front wall is done I just need to take an updated picture. My friend and I will hopefully get the trusses onto the walls this evening and then tomorrow assemble trusses and hopefully get some sheathing on.

cheers,
Parrish

So myself and my buddy have been pretty busy and trying to get things done on the garage in between the crappy weather lately. We Finally got the roof and shingles on. This past weekend we started the electrical which is probably 75% complete and also started on the siding but had to quit due to the high winds and rain as you can see from the pics.

I haven't provided much for updates lately, but I am still at the stage of mudding and sanding and soon to be painting. On the outside I finally got the driveway paved. It was a nightmare before because when it would rain our clay base soil would stick to anything once it got wet.

See Picture.

Keep the posts coming. I enjoy watching the builds on here even if I don't leave comments. I can live my dreams through others that way.

By the way, the garage looks good.

Very nice! Great inside color combination. If you don't mind me asking, what's is being built behind your man cave?

Thanks guys, i enjoy seeing pictures of other builds as well. Some great ideas and mods have come from this site. In regards to the building behind my garage it is an Elementary school that is being built , due to open 2012 (maybe).

This past weekend I was able to pressure wash the floor and get rolling on the 4 post lift install. Ended up getting about 3/4 done on the install(heavy work anyways) and will finish this week.

haha iv converted a few of them from auto non turbo sohc rb20de to manual rb20det's so know them pretty well at this stage...they're popular enough over here for driftin
i had a ps13 silvia myself up until a couple of months ago i broke it for parts though.
i plan on gettin a 4 door r32 an converting it to rb25det or sr20det cos i prefer the power delivery and response from the sr for driftin

wat kind of power is yours makin??wats the spec list on the rb?

Is your garage door opener a Chamberlain 3800? If not what kind is it, what was the price, how do you like it, and where did you purchase it? Thank,

There pretty Easy cars to work on , (knock on wood) haha I have to do a clutch replacement so the lift will come in handy:
After I replaced the turbo, fuel injectors, fuel pump and installed a FMIC i took it to a shop and at 14 psi I was pushing 315hp. Tuner was going to try 20psi but i opted out as I would like to change the head gasket to a Cometic gasket and also replace the head studs with ARP before pushing 20psi.
- N1 R34 Turbo
- Tein Coil Over setup(fully adjustable)
- Deutchwerks Injectors
-Walbro Fuel Pump
- HKS Super Dragger Exhaust
- GTR Front bumper
- full brake package AMS
- Blitz Super BOV
- Custom Tune (Nistune)
-Mines ECU Upgrade
- Greddy Profec B Spec II Boost Controller
I think thats it for now unless I forgot something.

Car is quick and I have a blast in it.

The openers are Liftmaster 3800,s I believe the price was around $425.00 each and I bought them from the garage company who installed everything. If your in the Calgary area I can give you the company name.
