My dad and I are putting up a 50 by 50 shop. There will be two large bay doors appx 14 feet high and we are thinking about putting in a few sky lights. I just epoxy coated my 400 sq ft garage and was thinking of doing the shop floor as well. I'm just concerned about sun exposure fading the finish. I know epoxy coat sells a uv protectant I just don't have any expericence with it. We are just going to use the shop ourselves but we want to build it for commercial applcation. Any suggestions for the floor? We will be pouring within a few weeks. Thanks all

Some polyurea and 100% solids epoxy will perform in this application. Our Polyurea, for example has been tested in full outdoor exposure. Our 100% solids epoxy (with UV Top coat) or our anti skid epoxy are both approved and warranted in indoor applications with UV exposure (such as large open bay doors) and are approved for transition areas for external applications. In English you can use them as you would be or as part of doorways or small external areas but would not recommend coating your driveway with them

Are you prepared to grind or etch?
Consider the prep as a large part of the project.

If this is not palatable you may consider a densifier treatment. The "anti-coating".
