I replaced standard plug with a gfi plug ,for my 3 gallon compressor .now when I plug it in, I get a feed back in my office inside the house like a power surge, so whats going on oh by the put in a 20 amp.

Did you make sure the wires are connected tight, sounds like you may have a loose nuetral if I follow correctly

What do u mean by feedback? Im an electrician and a sound engineer and feedback only means one thing to me: high pitch squeelin because pf some ***** who held a mic too close to a speaker!
