I started this project a few years ago when I installed my Maxjax low ceiling lift. I was tired of crawling under cars because it was just too hard on the body. Now changing brakes, tires, clutches and other under chassis work is less hard due to the accessibility.
Here's what I statrted with:
After the Maxjax install:
Then the slabjacking (by Purlift.com) because the garage slab was listing 3-4 inches in the rear and the paneling was going to be a problem because nothing was straight.. Do it right the first time.
Then sheet and paint the walls:
Now for the ceiling. First, I wanted to hip a section so I could lift my Chevy HHR. Add some recessed lighting. Then insulate and use metal ceiling to give a nice clean look:
I'll update as the project continues.
