26'x28' Shop Build. FINALLY!

Lots going on around here recently. I sent in the paperwork for my business license, set up my Square payment service and ordered my card reader, got a working version of my logo done, and started a little construction project.
A potential welding job turned construction. I’ll be making a handrail to match the porch railing of a customer’s house.
We decided on untreated as he is planning to restrain/seal all his railings soon.

I still need to drill the holes for the copper tubing then sand.
I’ve also finished and stained the kitchen booth. Still needs poly.
Little updates on the shop.

Nice. Was the customer happy with the outcome? If he was, I’m sure he would spread the work about your work.
Yes they were happy with it. They plan on sanding and re-staining the original railings and cleaning up tarnished copper so we agreed I would just leave it sanded.

I took the opportunity this morning to throw up my folding partition behind the drill press and bandsaw.

This will help contain chips without permanently blocking any of my floor space. Eventually all tools will be on frames with locking casters.

I finally got around to finishing the kitchen booth. Stain and poly.
We will be deciding on fabric choice for the cushions next week.
I also moved our hot tub to make room for new patio furniture. I bought an EZPad instead of pouring concrete. Treated 2x4 retaining frame and Pea Gravel leveled the area underneath.
Prybars, lots of cribbing, and a few PVC pipes got her moved pretty easily.

Additionally; Logo design is in full swing with an old friend who does graphic design work professionally. Secret for now. Lol

Really nice seeing the progress on your work and your garage. I like the idea of having everything moveable.
Working on a logo is exciting. I've got a logo done for my garage, but I think I might still change it. It's one of the most important things regarding your branding.

Logos are officially done! I received my business license and registered with the state. Now to finish the wall board, paint and trim.....

Finished everything except the header above the garage door.
I do need to shift the hinges outboard on my swinging partition. The OSB keeps the partition from fully closing in on itself. I’ll fix that tomorrow.
I’m also hoping to use up most of my scrap by making some organizers in my Material Loft.

Agreed! The white really sets the space off.
Any plans to paint the rest of the cabinets to match that blue/gray color of the desk base? I think that blue/gray with the lighter wood top looks nice together.
Great job on the place, it has really come together. I'm jealous of your clean counter tops. Every time I clean mine off they fill right back up with junk.
