Here's a few pictures of what I'm starting with. I've been making small steps forward between all of the other summer obligations. Now that the weather is cooling off and obligations are becoming less I'm hoping to make a little more progress. I actually have a little more done than the pictures show, I will post when I get a chance.
This is the before shot of the electrical service and the Verizon FiOs box.
This shows the 2" conduit I ran on the wall against the house. I ran them to the attic and basement of the house from the attic of the garage. I then ran a pipe into one of the bedroom(my wife's office) closets that I am going to use as a network/TV/phone closet.
Note: I have since secured the wires in the wall going to the basement.
The last couple pics basically just show the unfinished walls and some of my ****. I didn't take any pictures from outside because there was so much stuff in the middle that you couldn't see anything.
These two show the new electric panel and service entrance outside. This was done with a little help from a couple 25+ year union electricians. They told me I was the first residential house they've used conduit on. I personally think it looks much better. On the inside I used a full 4'x8' sheet of plywood so I have room for the FiOs box and the underground dog fencer I will be adding next summer. I'm not 100% in love with the way the wires come out of the top plate but it's far better than what was there!
As I said, I will update with more current pictures when I get a chance. I'm hoping to be at least parking in the garage shortly as the NY winter is coming soon!
