After asking several questions throughout the build I thought I should show the 'final' product. I say final although as you can see there is still much work to do.

I will be getting the car lift installed in the next month or two and insulation/drywall. The retainer wall down the side of the workshop went in yesterday and my back/arms ache as a result of the 4k pounds of block laid. Another 6k to lay along back wall etc.

Floor will be down in the spring once things warm up a little. In the mean time I will try not to stain it too bad...

Last photo in this post shows one of the footers dug for car lift column...

In case it is of interest this was built by Shirk out of PA. Cant recommend them highly enough.

Some more at a slightly more complete stage.

Garage doors are large at 10' wide and 9' high with VERY quiet Liftmaster 3800 jackshaft openers. Went with a high lift track meaning doos sit about 12 inches below the 14' 8" ceiling.

Lighting is T8 units, 4 bulbs per unit, 2 rows of 4 lights. Photos dont do it justice, it is VERY bright. Think dentist's office. They have only been in 3 days but I am happy I split them over two switches as I only need half of them on at any one time unless I am doing detail work.

Workbenches still to be moved from old (TINY) garage.

32 110v outlets which seemed overkill at the time but I am happy I did it now. One 220V outlet or the car lift which I mounted on the side wall about 12' high.

Thanks for the comments. Am located near Martinsburg, WV.

Compressor and welder and both 110v, what can I tell you, they are smaller than you might think is required.

The Model A wont look like that for long...fenders to be removed and flathead to be installed. Think highboy.
