Thats right. I just got 29 GearWrench reversible combination ratcheting wrenches for $33.65 out of pocket!
Here's the story. In 2006 my wife and I bought a brand new Mazda 3 from a dealership that had just opened it's doors. As as a "thank you for buying your car from us" present they included, at no cost to us, a service package that paid for all of the vehicle's service and wear item repairs for five years or 100,000 miles. They gave us a coupon book that had coupons for goods and services from the dealership. One of the coupons was good for "$300 extra dollars trade in value towards the purchase of a new car".
Well, my wife got to wanting a new car. A couple of months ago we went back to the same dealership and traded her Mazda 3 in for a brand new Mazda Tribute. We got her new Tribute and went our merry way. I forgot all about the $300 extra trade in value coupon.
A couple of weeks ago we get a check in the mail for $300 from the dealership. They said it was for the $300 coupon good towards the trade in value of the car. Pretty damn nice of them.
I decided to take the $300 and buy the GearWrench wrenches I wanted. I think it was a fair trade. The wife gets a new car, and I get some new wrenches. I logged onto Amazon.com and bought GearWrench set 9602 and 9509. Total was $333.65 shipped to my door. Not a bad deal, huh?
