I recently got the 299pc Cman socket set. I have had there 6 point set and some of them didn't fit in the Hanson socket racks. So since I have a larger set and a lot more that don't fit those trays. I have been looking for a way to store the like ones together. Does any one have a suggestion on ways to store them and or pics? I did like the fact i could grab the Hanson trays if was working out side the garage so would like to keep that ability.

I like these.
They have a magnetic base and the sockets twist lock in place.
Craftsman and Mac make them for sure. Probably others too.

It's prob. the 1/4 inch drive size that don't fit. I noticed some Craftsman had a smaller hole so I would return them for the larger. Or in another case, drilled it out so it would fit over the peg. Had a friend grind down the peg a bit also.
