2ft LED High Bays - Looking for feedback

I am looking at the 2ft highbays linked below and I want to know if you have any of them in your shop? If so can you provide feedback on them?

I have seen the second light posted about sure someone on here has them. I'm also looking at those lights. Would be nice to know your space dimensions, so people have an idea what your trying to do.

My shop is going up in the next two weeks and is a 30 x 50. My walls are 14 ft, with a roof peak of 16.5 ft, so I need to stick in the 10,000 - 15000 lumen output range. The lights I listed are some that have been recommend before, but I am curious how well they have held up for the members that have installed them. I would really like to use the Columbia Lighting/Hubbell 2ft high bay, but I am hoping to find a more affordable alternative that is also not going to be problematic.

I put up 6 2’ high bays in my 3 car garage and it’s fantastic. Very bright I put them on a 0-10v dimmer and can adjust them down when I don’t need it as bright.

Please note that the 2' High Bays mentioned above are 16K Lumens out of 12.6"x24" light fixture and are suggested hung between 15-25' mounting height. I've had a similar light have to be removed mounted at 15' so you have to be careful even at the low end of that range.
Lots of advantages of light coming out of a larger area and/or more lights for the area.

GRB: How many fixtures did you have at the time of removal? What did you replace them with and what quantity? Did you have spots of intense light , unbalanced light , etc?

I believe its a 12ft ceiling - see pics. Its a new house and we don't live there yet otherwise I'd just measure. I know that they are 'low' by high bay standards but I'm very happy with the light output, the dimming especially helps (i imagine i'll have them at 75% most of the time). I will say that they are not harsh like i've seen with the T5 highbays. I've had them for a month or two now (house is under construction). I would caution against going with anything higher than 110W (16k Lumens) LED panels, they had 165+Watt panels and I'm sure those would have been ridiculous. I was on the fence on going with some 1ft 50W versions (6400LM) but decided that 6 of those would be good but I might want more light as i age (we don't plan on moving).

Here's the 0-10V dimmer i used (it has Occupancy/vacancy functionality as well). Dimming is very even and dims the lights off when they are turned off), the lights dim down very low without any flicker.

The problem is the glare from too much light intensity coming from a small area. Panels intended to be used in offices at 8-10' heights have half the light from twice the area.
The problem gets worse if you work on cars as you will frequently be looking up at a car on a hoist or when working on a creeper under a car. Glasses, Safety Glasses, age make it worse. Tall storage near the light was the big issue I had with the one similar light I was given to try.
Sadly, many people associate bright light with lights that are irritating to look at. Just look at the lighting displays at HD or Lowes.
In the example above, it looks like the lights might be even lower than 12'. Hard to tell the height of the garage doors. Probably would have been better to run a continuous run of 2x4' fixtures down that area. Check out the sticky for "Best Light Fixture Ever".

It is always best to show your plan and ask "What should I do for lighting?" than say "I want to buy these fixtures. Can you give me feedback?" Proper lighting design is far more difficult than people realize.

I have a 30 x 60 shop with 12 foot wall heights and a clear span. The center height is 17 foot. I used a metalux high bay fixture which is about 18" x 24". The fixture is 9000 lumens. They have this fixture in up to 36,000 lumens I recall. We went with less lumens and more fixtures to have better light distribution. I went with 24 fixtures. I was paying contractors / engineers cost for the fixtures. The price was not bad. I have roughly 220,000 lumens of lighting in the space. All of this is on 1 20 amp circuit drawing roughly 1,500 watts.
The lighting is nice and bright with no shadows. The electrician is a friend and does commercial work. He claims to have better luck with the metalux fixtures in shops and similar spaces.

I hung four of the high bay 18k lumen home depot / commercial electric 2ft led's in a 30x30 garage w/ 12' 6" ceilings, and it's like daylight in there. I was concerned with them being high bay and having them mounted lower than they are spec'ed for, but they are fantastic
