2hp Valley grinder??

A local online auction has a "Valley" 2hp 240 volt single phase (maybe 10") grinder listed. Anyone have any knowledge or experience with this brand, Valley Electric Corp., St.Louis? It looks old, what I have found online suggests it was made after 1938.
