2nd level floor covering?

Getting ready to do the woodshop (second floor) in 3/4" hardwood - likely maple or walnut.

I have decided to go with a laminate 'hardwood' floor covering. I figure between the hardwood covering and the underlayment, noise downstairs should be minimal and allow for easy cleaning.
