2nd story garage flooring

I have a 2 story garage built into a hill. The first story is basically a basement as the second story is ground level to the backyard. First floor is where I park the cars, lawnmower etc. I have a furnace type woodstove in the first floor but rarely use it. I am now finishing off my 2nd story which is 1000 sq. Ft. It will be a multiple use man cave, wood shop, gardening space. I will probably be installing a mini-split system for part time heating and cooling of the second floor. I am air sealed and insulated pretty well but there will be decent temperature swings throughout the year. I will have cabinets, along with heavier items like a table saw, pool table etc. Currently an Advantech subfloor is installed.
The question is: what type of floor would be best. Something that looks good for the man cave, is durable, strong, and wont buckle due to temperature swings and semi heavy loads? I thought a floating floor of some type would be best but I am not so sure now. Any brainstorms would be appreciated.

You have a lot of options. Given the sub-floor that is in place, I would likely stay away from some of the traditional garage flooring products. A fully adhered PVC system may be a good option, but there is a lot to consider there.

We get many calls about suspended garages leaking. Unless when it was built that a full roofing system was embedded, it most likely will leak over time to the below. Epoxies are not really waterproofers.

Two recommendd options:
1. Roll out mats/ribbed style (they can't leak and the ribs hold moisture in the channels).
2. Traffic Deck Coating System-This is what we sell in commercial garages that have spaces below. They are multi layer, built up flexible coating systems.

Depends how fancy you want it. The click together bamboo looks very nice and is quick and easy to install.
