I have not seen one of these listed here or ebay so was wondering the value of it in good working condition. I have an opportunity to score that as well as a mixed Craftsman =v=, Cornwell, Proto, SK, other USA 3/4" Drive Socket set sizes ranging from i'd say 1" to 3".
The guy is asking $100, but not in my plans to use it, only for profit.
To all you tool junkies/collectors/for-profit resellers, what are your ideas on a deal like this?

It darn sure isn't collectible enough to be worth 11% more than an identical new one out of the store.

If it has socket from 1-3 inches it is if the sockets are any name brand. Quite a del if you ask me. To cover 2" of sockets thats a lot of sockets

Just saying because collectors say the =v= model is the best craftsman version made.

Gotta agree with mrholeshot. For that ratchet, and a significant amount of sockets, I'd say it's a good deal. The new ratchet everyone is comparing it to, is one of the ones I don't like. I have no use for a 3/4" drive though, so I couldn't say as to resale value.

i tried the 3/4" raised panel ratchet in the store and it don't seem very good. i'm sure it would do the job but it's nothing special.

I totally missed the piece about the sockets. Yes that is a rather good deal. I bought a williams 3/4 ratchet and extensions, t bar, u joint, quite a selection of sockets and a metal box from a guy on Ebay five years or so ago, $76 plus shipping. Most of it was unused, the guy said he bought it new many years ago and never used it so he sold it, I happened to win the auction.

Yea I only realized that the c'man =v= series was sought after so when I noticed it was one of them I wanted to gauge the interest before I splurged on something that is not going to be profitable, not to mention a huge weight stack.
