What socket organizers do you use for your 3/4 drive sockets?

This summer I got sick of all my impact sockets rolling around my tool drawers, so I got a set of sae and metric peg style organizers to put my standard and deep sockets in. As far as I see, these are only available in 1/4, 3/8, and 1/2 drive.

I really like that they have the size marked on the top of the pegs so I can easily see what size socket to grab. Anybody know of a source for similar 3/4 drive organizers?

Any input is much appreciated.

I don’t know of anything, I just leave mine loose. They don’t move much, but sizes are hard to see.

I had to put my 3/4 set in a separate box,due to weight. I am looking for a new box for storing my 3/4 set.

I keep them loose on the bottom drawer of my Lista cabinet. I find them too heavy and too big to bother having them on any type of rail.

If you find you need to have them on a rail, make your own. Take a piece of steel drill and tap holes in a line and insert threaded rod pieces for your pegs and you are done. Could also use wood and wood inserts with the threaded rod as well (or even use nails/spikes with the heads clipped).

You need to buy more sockets to fill the empty space:)

Snap on sells clips and rails for 3/4" drive. They are fairly reasonable as far as snap on goes. Mine have held up pretty well for 15 years or so.

Ernst socket rails and trays, Snap-on stamped metal rails and Olsa aluminum rails. If you have a large number of 3/4 drive sockets you almost have to find a homemade solution to organize them. The extra large sockets in a set are obviously heavy and are hard on rails and clips

It may be worth contacting Westling Machine. They don't offer anything now, but they might if people show interest.

I have the SK sets for metric and standard. I've just left them in their individual bags in the metric and standard boxes. I have to riffle thru them to find one. With small tears, Nick's, and open bags rust has begun. I just today moved them into small plastic tubs by Craftsman that I found at Lowe's for just under $7 a pop. Obviously this doesn't solve the issue of having to hunt for the sizes. I very rarely use these; therefore, putting them into a drawer in the chest isn't a good use of space for me.

Not 3/4 but here's my 1in set. Just in a drawer. Should probably double up the slides, they are HEAVY7e7b9353f16e8573bc3e5a9aac848c47.jpg

3/4 Drive organization is tough. Not really a good solution out there. The Ernst look like they will work but being generic you end up either short spots or with extra space taken up by the Tray. But they are nice.

Laid my US Craftsman out on CAD then cut the items needed for a custom Tray on the Water Jet. Works great and gives every one of them a home to land in.

I somebody is hand with Millwork they could probably do the same with a router.

My 3/4 and 1 inch drive sockets came in metal cases. I left them in the cases and store them under my box . no room in a drawer for them and since they are not used that often this works for me.
