looking for opinions on these two guns. both can be had for less than 200 on amazon. aircat 1620 vs hf/cp earthquake, pros, cons? is either comparable with the $500 guns?
With either it is mandatory that you use 1/2" diameter hose and 3/8" couplers. If you attempt to use either with 1/4" or 3/8" airline and 1/4" couplers you will find that they produce less torque than a 1/2" impact due to the fact that they will be starved for air. Both are fine.
If you have a 3/8" airline you will find that the 1/2" Earthquake actually produces more torque than the 3/4" Earthquake.
