Hey guys in the market for a 3/4 inch impact let me hear some feedback trying to keep it under the 400 dollar mark. There is a local pawn shop that has a Snap on mg 1250 for sale 320 bucks is it worth it? Thanks

I'm not impressed with Snap-On's pneumatic impacts, myself. I've seen far too many issues. For my money, I'd get a used Ingersoll rand 2145qimax, prices are great on them. Used ones on ebay working well can be had for around $150.00, up to $275.00 Well made wrench IMO. I've seen them on the inside. BTW, I'm not brand specific on anything, I simply believe in calling good as such, and bad as such.

Atlas Copco, Ingersol Rand, CP, etc come to mind. You'll be hard pressed to find a good 3/4" impact for that price new. You may stumble across a deal used.

Be aware that you need to run a 1/2" or 3/4" air line to get the most out of a 3/4" impact gun. The tiny 1/4" air fittings and air hose used on smaller air tools just won't cut it.

I had the Earthquake and it was good but heavy. I got a IR2145 new for $400 on Amazon and I like it a lot, weighs less and a lot more quiet. I see Amazon has them for $400 often on sale.
