3/4 ratchet

just picked up a snap-on 3/4 ratchet from a flea market today...its a L-72R. it has the date code from 1944, i just had to but it once i saw it. thing is i nowticed the square drive is missing the ball to hold sockets...i saw snap-on doesnt have 20 tooth replacements only 32 tooth, so what is my option? i figure ill talk to my dealer and see what he can do with it...also was thinking about getting a large hard handle for it after it gets cleaned up

you can try it, it might just fit right in there.

im not too worried about the teeth count, just would like to have it so it can hold sockets. i figure i would clean it up, possibly powder coat it cause it looks like somebody painted it silver...i would like to put a hard handle on it, but can you get a replacement handle for a pry bar? i figure the smaller ones wont fit

SDD8R1RR This is the handle # I used for my 1/2" ratchet I think it would work for a 3/4

Larry has a set of replacement detent balls on his site http://oldtoolman.com/

The new rebuild kit will work I have a l72 that needed a rebuild it went right in and works great.
