First of all, I want to say thank you for all the info on garage journal. I find it a bit overwhelming sometimes. Who makes the DeWalt 3/4 " ratchet? I saw one on clearance for $65 @ Rural King.

My guess would be Stanley Black and Decker, as they own DeWalt. It's probably very similar to a Proto or Blackhawk.

For the about the same money and as much as you are to possibly use one I would go with a Tekton 22" for the ease of warranty. Two styles quick release with button or smooth head non quick release

I flipped some Dewalt hand tools on my flea mkt tool table. Not really big fan on them. (and I do try out most everything I have ) and surprisingly they also didn't sell very well. Much of the Tekton stuff I have flies off the table on the other hand.
Big Dewalt display at my local hardware store looks pretty awesome though

If it says made in Taiwan on the packaging, it's either Stanley's contractor in Taiwan or they have their own manufacturing operations in Taiwan.

I use 3/4” and 1” drive at work pretty often but we work on some big ****. If you need it there will be no question. Sometimes we still come across stuff that’s too big, tight and rusty to **** with. That’s when the gas axe comes out and the bolt gets turned into magma. It can’t be tight if it’s liquid.
