For a long 1/4" ratchet I love my cornwell. 9 1/4" long with comfort grip. It is only 30 tooth, but that don't bother me. Longest 1/4" ratchet I own, use the hell out of it and it very tough
I have a Matco 1/4" that is 8" long like marnav1 pointed out. Kolbalt has a 1/4" flex head with a hard handle that is 12" long.
I also recommend the Armstrong locking flex heads. The are the best value foe a quality locking flex head. The 3/8" and 1/2" ones are on the longer side and have smaller and thinner heads. I would not trade mine for anything else.
The GearWrench ratchets are also good ones and one of the better values out there. I have a 3/8" stubby flex head that I like a lot.
The Gearwrench 3/8 Flex is the longest and cheapest. Length is 15.71 inches. I ponder how is this one compared with the Duralast Flex in terms of performance. Which one would be better?
