Just got a CT661, and love it. Not a lot of power but I don't use it for that..

Bought a dewalt 1/4" drive and returned it for a milwaukee m18 (not fuel) and the milwaukee is way more powerful. I then bought a 3/8 and a 1/2" and have been very happy with them all. None are the fuel but if the fuel is better than I don't see how you could go wrong. Awesome tools.

The new ir 3/8 20v. I love my 1/2" 7150. I'm sure the 3/8 is just as kickass

I agree my boss has the IR W7150 and this thing is really something else. I have a Makita and it's ok. really a good bang for your buck. I don't think it was designed for the Mechanic in mind but it works really well and has been durable. The IR has power for days it is quite impressive I'm looking at the IR W5130 right now. I had one for a week through one of our distributors and it replaced my air hose for my 3/8 impact. If I had an extra 400 bucks it would be sitting in my tool box already. Ingersoll Rand knows how to make an impact.

Milwaukee has proven to be a very reliable product and I felt they're a very good company that listen to customers. I'm a big fan of Milwaukee and I'm pretty sure Snap-On will perform well but there's not a wide support of accessories/parts like Milwaukee. Milwaukee product is more widely used than Snap-On; there's just no comparison!

Makita BTW253...they're made for mechanics. Stronger than the SO above-mentioned...not sure about any tools trucks carrying them...the newer Milwaukee products have disappointed me, and pretty much any Dewalt product has left me wanting more. I have some of the newer 12V Li-ion Milwaukee for limited access, but if I had to do it again, I'd go w/ the Makita 12MAX stuff...not as many tools, harder to find aside from online.

I bought the Craftsman C3 19.2v 1/2" impact and got a Li-Ion battery. Works great. I've done brakes, CV axle replacement and tire rotations with it, no problem. I'm a DIYer. I wanted the SO one, but for the price, I couldn't do it.

Do you have the new 5130 20 volt or the old W150 14.4 volt?

W150 14.4v. I replaced it with the snapon.

The batteries didnt last long. And its not easy to get fixed. I just drop my snappy off on truck he lends me a demo for a week I get mine back.

Dont get me wrong IR makes great air and power tools. Jsut didnt like the 3/8 gun.
