I have a great neck 30 inch (3/8"). I don't remember why I bought it but I do use it (even though I don't really need that long an extension). Otherwise I have a couple duralast and craftsman rolling around somewhere. Try to find a good place to store a 30" extension! I have it strapped to a leg of my work bench with a brass cup hook and ring hook (for the bottom); works great.
Nowadays...I prefer the kobalt stuff for some reason. It's just built good and have never had any issues with them.
