3/8” ratchet plug identification

Does anybody recognize this drive plug. I can’t place it.

Two adjoining sides have the ball. Kind of an odd configuration.

The biggest clue might be the unique 4 indentation crimp around each ball.

For an old nonreversible ratchet. Push the plug through and flip the ratchet over for the other direction. The wife has a few variations of those in her collection. I believe one is an SK and another is a Craftsman.

I'm not sure who it is, but there are many variations of that type of ratchet out there. Those are some that I know she has for sure though. She has more tools than some of my coworkers too though! Haha

I have quite a few plugs but don’t recall any with that odd configuration. All of the retaining balls on mine are inline.

Is this one stepped and not 3/8” at each end?

Might be Blackhawk if 7/16” ?

It's don't think it's big enough for 7/16, but, I tried it in several modern 3/8 sockets, and one side fits perfect while the other side is too big. You can tell up close there's a slight taper. and the corner edges are raised on one side. Hard to see in the pictures.
