A guy at work has one of these and they are awesome. I have been searching for any other brands/types of this tool.

This thing is absolutely phenomenal and I want to get one, but I use it rarely, so it is hard to deal with the 100.00 price. Does anyone know of anything comperable to it? I use it to pump gear oil into the rear axles of cars I service...like I said I use it maybe once a week, or a couple of times a month.

its a simple pump that fits to an air ratchet.

I don't know where to find one, but I can second your comment these things are very convenient to work with. I got one freebie about two years ago from a friend of mine who picked up a bunch of stuff at a garage sale with this in one of the boxes.

I use it to pump anti freeze when needed and 10w40 the rest of the time. I scored a mini drum of 10w40 Rotella T for $30 from a local place that went out of business last year and the pump has proven invaluable.

Everyone ought to have one of these ;)

Sure meant for a drill, but one can easily take a cheap 1/4" deep socket, slide over shaft, drill through, insert cotter pin...

Dug into googling for something like that a month or so ago, bottom line everything less than about $30 is a POS and at best a one time if that use. Magic keywords for google, Oil Change Pump, as commonly used by boat owners.

Various models from Terapump, hand pumped, hand cranked, and the larger D cell battery powered units around $25 got good ratings. Most of these are either barrel or bottle depending on type, so not really general purpose, but if you have a barrel no doubt better for that.

$33 shipped from Amazon, Jabsco a boat product that attaches to a drill, but apparently its actually a well made long lasting pump.

Despite the price, if it really does what it says it does the Jabsco seems very handy to have, but maybe smart to used a corded drill for any bigger jobs.

Despite lots of returns, this looks interesting as well, about $40 from HF etc.
