3/8 socket set for under $60 that doesn't skip sizes (Metric)

All I need are the sockets. Don't really care about ratchets and/or extensions.

I need both deep and regular. 6 point is preferred but 12 point is good too. Impact if the price allows, if not, then chrome is fine.,


Any recommendations?

I'm sure you going to get a lot recommendations Sunex, Gearwrench , Tekton etc. and depending on how large a set you're needing like up to 22mm they probably be what you want.


But just as note Eastwood has a 6pt boxed impact set with both shallow and deep cro-mo in Metric on clearance sale 8-19mm no skips

I actually put it in my cart last night, I have looked at it for while but wasn't going pay full price and shipping too...

I already have the 3/8 SAE version of it from them for otr job transport for use with my cordless impacts and its a great little set to grab and go with having both shallow and deep sockets.

Best bang for the buck is the still running gearwrench deal in the hot deals forum, if you can add $40 to that.. complete 3/8 and 1/4' sets w/ratchets and NO fillers, NO skipped sizes.

I'd get both the shallow and deep Tekton set myself... 7-19mm in both sets. $40 for both on Amazon. I don't have their 3/8 sockets, but I do have the 1/2 drive sockets.

seems like that Genius link posted above is right on the money what your looking for. impact. no skip. no extra **** you don't want and pay more for lol and less then $60 bucks

Personally, I'd buy used US made Craftsman or SO at swap meets. Sockets typically run $1-2 each.

Sunex end of story if want new and not going worry over 20mm skip ...

Great sale on Tekton.com right now. I got the 1/2 master set for 159, $40 off. The 3/8 chrome would be under 40 and both impact sets would be similar unless you want the big 11-32 mm sets. Gifts4dad I think is the code.
