Williams offers both domestic and import products, has for a long time, isn't deceptive about it and doesn't switch a sky from domestic to import under the same number. Quality is excellent regardless of COO. Beware of fakes on eBay though.

Are there really fakes? I can't imagine it would be worth it to counterfeit Williams branded tools. Snap-on, sure, but Williams?

Somebody posted up a fake palm ratchet kit a few weeks ago he had shipped directly from HK/China. Definitely was Williams. Pretty sure he was pissed.

I been workin on the railroad, all the live long day

If it was me, I would get whatever I don't have to pay shipping on and where I can walk into a handy storefront and get something replaced if I need to.

I have a SK 3/8" already and truth be told it's perfectly adequate but no better than a Husky. In fact I would be using the Husky handle instead, but the way it's designed if when you change direction you push down too hard it releases the socket and it falls on the ground. If the Husky didn't have a release like the SK doesn't I would use the Husky.

And the SK has a plastic part inside (the plunger backed by the spring) where the Husky is all metal. Although plastic in that position I expect will work fine.
