3/8 spinner handle that accepts ratchet?

Ive got a 1/4 Craftsman spinner handle you can put a ratchet on the end of.....works great and I use it all the time.

I havent seen nor could I find a 3/8 equivalent.....anyone seen one?

Im not having luck finding anything. Found one on eBay from overseas.....unknown brand....but it may be my only go.

If you are in the USA then MAC tools have a 3/8" drive 3 piece set
you can buy online for $104.

They are 6", 10" and 18" long, I'm sorry I can't copy and paste a link on the
device I'm using, but if you go to mactools.com and click shop online...

then go to Drive tools>>Ratchets/Extensions/Adaptors

You will find them on the last page. 3 of 3.

It's called a 3-pc 3/8" drive locking hand drive extension set.

SK used to make a 3/8" one, part number 45155, but I can't tell if it had the female drive in the end.

Edit: SK 40953 which is the 1/4" spinner does have the recess so I'm assuming that the 3/8" does as well.

I bought one years ago from Napa off the shelf.Only had a 3/8 though . Armstrong makes them as well.

I got those in 3/8" and 1/2". The best price I found was on the VIM web site.

I bought the Vim ones on sale last year, not impressed. Look very nice, and appeared to be made well, but the socket lock *****. You have to slide the barrel back to get a socket on, but then it doesn't hold well at all, sockets pull right off.

I made my own. Picked up some 1/4 nut drivers on clearance from Lowes for 0.94. Had a xtra 10 in 1/4 dr extension drilled it out and pressed it in.

I like that the shaft is knurled inside the handle. They must just put handles on their extensions.

I went through this a while back and ended up making one out of an extension and an old screwdriver handle. Very handy. The VIM ones looked nice, but once shipping was on top it got to be a bit much for me. There was another company, yellow handle that I can't recall off the top of my head, on ebay. Jasco or something like that :

Edit, it was called Jawco, but it did not have a female on the back side.

Edit again, that SK one looks real nice for <$10 if you can find a good deal on shipping.

I've been thinking about making my own using a snap on Instinct grip and a locking extension, would be really cool and rare and all you need is a drill press, counterboring tool and some skillz

well I ordered the S-K one from the other vendor that came up in an online search... we shall see... I like that style handle best, or even the old Craftsman style hexagonal ones, even though you have to wear gloves for high torque applications (but you can use a six point deep socket to drive it) Too bad the Williams one doesn't match their black handled screwdrivers or have a drive socket... oh well...

Autotoolworld is also OOS. Apparently there are none left in normal retail channels

I just made them from stuff I had laying around. The first was the 10" 3/8. Bought a $1 screwdriver from lowes to try out the idea. I use that one a lot for greasy disassembly.
