Is it a good idea to apply 3 colors of chips one pay one ?

On a Dark Grey epoxy:

Step 1 : Apply Dark Grey epoxy
Step 2 : Apply Light Grey chips 10 minutes later after Epoxy with Spikes shoes
Step 3 : Apply white chips 12 minutes later after Epoxy
Step 4 : Apply Black Chips 14 minutes later after Epoxy
Step 5 : Apply Clear (12 to 16 hours) afer epoxy

Does this method(step 2-3-4) give a better look than a once step ?

Thanks

I just saw your other post and what you have above is not a good idea. You can get a nice even mix by using a couple 5 gallon buckets or large containers. Pour all the different colors into the bucket and then pour the bucket into the other empty bucket. Continue back and forth and they will mix up nicely. You can gently stir them by turning the bucket or container sideways and use your hands, but you don't want to get too aggressive or the chips can start to break in smaller pieces.

Do your mixing before applying the epoxy so that it is ready to go. You will get a much better pattern this way than trying to do 1 color at a time.
