Guys - I just stumbled upon the lighting and electrical forum. I have so many questions and reading to do. I have areas I'd like to upgrade lighting in. I'll get some better pictures tonight

1. Mancave room in basement - currently a standard round box with screw in bulb fixture. Room is 12' x 12' with 7' 9" ceilings. Should I go with an LED panel like this?

2. Attached garage 20' deep by 20' wide with 9' ceilings - currently 2 standard screw round fixtures. No access to attick without cutting a hole. Not really wanting too cut one either. This garage will be getting a nice coat of light grey paint and hopefully a coating on the floor.
What do you suggest to light this?

Sorry these pictures are old but still accurate.

3. Unattached garage - 24' x 24' nothing is finished. Currently there are 3 screw in type fixtures in this. I don't have plans to finish it but would like to get some better and brighter lighting in. I'll get a picture added tonight

Cool, we're playing Zork.

You're on a path in the woods. There's a bird chirping in the distance ...

(anyone under 40 isn't likely to get the reference)

Your second post shows no pictures - only words.
Zork was a very early text only computer game that relied on your imagination for graphics. Imagine Myst without graphics. (dang I'm getting old - even Myst isn't your generation)

Hmmm - I see pictures. I hosted them through imgur is that the issue?

I'll try attaching

I looked them up. They're not a lighting company. They buy those lights, the same as a thousand other companies do, and then re-sell them. There's no information on them, so there's no way of telling if they're any good. They are, however, extremely overpriced.
Good luck,
CD

Appreciate it. I’ll stay away and go with the recommended on this thread.
