Do you normally use a 3 or 4 point bend to go across a rain gutter down sprout? Help me save $3 :). 1/2 emt

I'd try really hard to get the pipe behind the downspout. Otherwise I would probably do a 4 point if the downspout is square, but it won't look that great.

3 point saddle is probably the toughest bend to make. It was always hit and miss for me to get those right. I usually stick with a 4 point because it's easy, just 2 back to back offsets.

Pffft. Don't need no stinkin' fancy-smancy bends.

Just punch a hole through the side of the downspout and slide the conduit through that.

4 point bend to smoothly go up-n-over (up-n-across?) the downspout.

here is the gutter. I can put the EMT thru behind it near the ground, but I would like for the majority of the run to be on the stucco,

if you could tell me how to bend it so it can go down and offseted into the opening. I can't figure out if you can, Maybe just do a back to back, then bend the open ends to straighten back into vertical pointing up, then use coupler on each side.

I agree about the 3 point saddles being difficult. I recently wired my garage with 3/4" conduit and had zero experiencing bending conduit beforehand. I was able to do the offsets and several 90's without much trouble but the one 3 point saddle I had to make gave me hell. There was several sticks of conduit wasted trying to make it.
