Here's a question for the EE guys here.
I accidentally purchased two 42-outlet PDUs, which I saw "120v" and didn't realize they were 3-phase inputs. The PDU has 3 distinct outlet groups, one for each phase, with current measured on each.
What I was thinking is using single phase, and putting the neutral to the neutral/ground to the ground obviously, and then the first hot to L1 and L3 and the second hot to L2. That would leave 20A on the 1st and 3rd outlet groups, and 20A on the second.
I'm curious with the way things are wired/measured, if it will work correctly and measure current correctly this way?
I know I bought the wrong things, but they are super cool, super cheap and will look awesome on the workbench
