Howdy. I'm building a 30x40 reverse gable garage with 8/12 pitch 2.5 ft heel attic trusses. It will have 10' 4" inch ceilings. I have been drawing it with 3 9ft high by 10'w doors. But now I'm thinking of 2 16'w by 9'h doors. I like the idea if being able to partition the building in half instead of thirds if I want and also in theory it's 4 parking spots instead of 3. Anyone have any thoughts about this?

Wider doors = easier to pull in.

BTW, not 4 parking spaces, with dollies and small cars, you have a 6 car garage. Start filling it up!

I operate on the belief that whatever I choose to do there are those who will tell me "You did it Wrong!", but not everybody will agree with that, there will also always be those who will say "Good Job" .

We are surrounded by Nattering Nabobs of Negativism, just research your situation, adapt and improvise; then overcome.
