Julius Peppers sends his regards. Thanks for your continued employment of Jay Cutler.

-Signed Packer Nation

I hear you on Jay Cutler. I'll never be sold on that guy.... and I've dreaded the thoughts on seeing Julius Peppers twice a year now. I love the Bears/Packers rivalry. I thinks it's one of the best in sports. Now... If only football season would get here!

Nice work! Did you plaster over the Osb in the garage or just paint it?

Just paint over the OSB, plaster on the ceiling. I like the OSB, more durable and easier to hang stuff. The downside is that it is not as smooth as a plaster finish. A lot of thought when I did it- I am happy with the decision.

Did you have to apply a lot of coats to it? Did you use Kilz or just a regular latex paint? Im thinking of adding osb as well.

Ed

Kilz primer with one finish coat. When I get a chance I would like to go to a light gray, something that hides dirt a little better and maybe a semi gloss for better clean-up. More coats on OSB definitely yields a smoother finish. I could have done one more initially, but just wanted to be done at that time- I hate painting! Repainting the walls would not be that bad and would go pretty quick. The first coat on OSB is the worst.

In my shop I used 2 coats of oil based Kilz followed by 2 coats of latex. I used a medium nap roller and had a paint brush handy to daub the spots the roller would not cover. Very happy with the results.

Wow I am jealous sir! I would have kept the double garage as well so that I could store more cars, that would give you 6 bays ;) You must live out in the suburbs to have that size garage though!

Ever thought about a 4 post lift?

Think about a 4 post lift almost every day... If the garage were a little deeper, I would be all over it. I bought the empty lot in my backyard and would like to put a 30x30 garage back there at some point.

From humble beginnings... That was a night that we were expecting a significant hail stom and I could not bare the thought of leaving something outside. That is 3 cars in a 20x20 garage. SUV went in last and I crawled out through the back window. What we won't do for our cars!

If you really loved your cars, you would move to California. Or Arizona. Or anywhere except Wisconsin.

Just spent the weekend in SoCal, ridiculous cars! Nice place to visit, not sure I could live there. Too many people and too little space. The one thing that they have that I could get really used to is Stone Brewing. One of the best breweries in the country and their beer is not available in the state of Wisconsin!

Stone's indeed got some good stuff - you can get some of it in Illinois for sure, or at least you could....I bought some last summer.
