3" standoffs with 5/16-18 threads - impossible to find

Sorry I assumed you didn't think I was that stupid. But I assumed you knew I meant I wanted it steel lol. Plain steel standoffs 3" long with a 5/16-18 thread are impossible to find. Of course I checked McMaster and Grainger. And everywhere else.

Just getting ready to post this. Cut down a bolt or piece of threaded rod to connect them. Weld it if you need it more secure.

Steel bar stock machined to length, drilled and tapped, then Loctite in a Long set screw. Build what ever length you want the Set screw provides the thread.

Those are both aluminum.

EH6956-3118-3.000-ST-00 should be what you're asking for.

No they aren't. You add a code to the part number to specify material. They are available in brass, nylon, aluminum, stainless steel and steel.
