I'm ready to install a 3-zone mini-split. Local code will let me do the grunt work as long as a licensed AC tech does the charging.

There's a thirty-foot run from the outside unit to where the lines angle off to the different head units. Due to add-ons and remodeling, running six insulated tubes would be *very* tight through a couple of places.

My question is: if I wrap some spiral cable cover over the tubes so they don't chafe, can I just tie all the liquid and suction lines into two common bundles, then run one insulation sheath over each bundle? That would give me plenty of room to snake the insulated bundles around obstructions.
