My Sons and I started this project about 2-1/2 yrs ago and are finally just about done. we built this to haul around my youngest sons dirt modified. we had built several open trailers, but this is the 1st enclosed we have built. I will post a few pics as I get time. we built this totally from scratch. 2" x 6" tubing for the frame, 1-1/2" x 2" tubing for the walls and roof bows. we had it totally spray foam insulated and installed roof A\C and an RV Furnace.
Big Job! :willy_nilalmost thought a couple of times we bit off more than we could chew but we got thru it. It will be fun to finally get to use it.

Close up picture of cabinet face frame detail. If I was to make these again I would make the fit a lot looser. It's hard to fit these w hen the tolerance is so tight. Looks nice though with tight fit and finish,

Looks like a darned nice and strong trailer. Reminds me of the trailers Lance Mathees builds over in Winona.
Where do you guys race at?

Thanks. I hope it pulls ok. we pulled it to our other shop once before we sheeted the sides, and it seemed to pull fine. we are thinking of building a toter to pull it now. we primarily race a Wissota B mod and a pure stock @ Chateau, Deer Creek, Kasson. ( if they ever race again)+ few specials

Hoping to get to some of the tracks down here this summer.. It's been ages for me... I used to crew Wissota Late Model out of Cedar Lake for a LOT of years..

Here's a pic of the cabinet door frame corner detail. Cut corner pieces from 1-1/2" aluminum angle. And then used 3/16" countersunk rivets. Door. Frames are 3/4" extruded alum, we decided to polish them. It was quite a process because the material was anodized. The frames have a 5/8" inside width so we used 1/2" closed cell foam and then glued .040 white aluminum to each side. It fit inside perfect.
