down to picking the colors for my summer garage project. having a little trouble with my final exterior colors. will be using steel roofing and siding.
am looking for some exterior pics with wainscot to help with this decision.
my house has gray vinyl siding with green standing seam roof, existing small garage with green standing seam roof. will be doing siding on this garage to blend with new pole building. thanks gf

Sounds like it comes down to matching the house or matching the existing small garage. Without pictures it's hard to have an opinion.

Most pole barn companies have color visualizers that allow you to mix 'n match trim, siding, and roof colors. Not the best, but a start.

Our pole barn/garage build starts in two days. We want the roof and trim and garage doors and walk doors to be the same color, which then also match the siding color of our house. The roof and trim are from the same manufacturer, but the garage doors and walk doors are from different manufacturers, making matching the colors a bit of a challenge. The manufacturers label the medium dark tan color "sand", "clay", or "sandstone". We had to get actual samples from the building to see how well they match. They are not exact, but they should do fine. Point is, check actual samples.

thanks for the pics and input. have been on a few scouting runs around the county looking at buildings and color schemes. think we have it resolved. green bottom wainscot , dark gray above it, and green roof. green corners, green eave and gable trim over white facia. white doors and windows with white trim on them . sounds pretty complex when I write it out hopefully will look good. keeping my wainscot in the 30 to 36 inch hght. thanks gf
