I'm looking for a 30mm, 3/4 drive, 6 point socket, at or preferably under 1-3\4" on the the nut end, as well as the rest of the socket. Metric 6 point 3/4" hand sockets seems to be slim pickings. Will be used on a 24" bull bar with a short cheater and a 16" extension.

Why the requirement for 6 point?

Snap On doesn't even make them in 6 point. Only 12 pt. Under 1-3/4" width:

Socket, Metric, Shallow, 30 mm, 12-Point
71.25 USD

I use 1/2" drive 30mm sockets with a Snap-on SN36 breaker bar. 1 3/16" is a close SAE size. Maybe buy a 1/2" drive socket and a couple of 3/4 to 1/2 adapters

Bolts are on a farm tractor loader frame where they mount to the tractor, 1/2 drive might stand a 4' cheater, but not a chance I want to take. A 6 point should stay on the bolt a little better with a 16" extension using down pressure. The Urrea 5530HM looks interesting, but the specs on their site looks off, showing a 57.1mm nut end measurement which would be a way to big, if that is correct.

Get a Snap-on SIM-382 socket. It's a 6 pt 3/4 drive impact socket. Turn the OD down to 1-3/4". I have one modified like this and use it on FWD half shafts.

My Stahlwille 3/4" drive 30mm 6pt measures 1 5/8" at the nut end, the drive end is a little smaller, any decent European socket ought to be similar in dimensions.

I have a complete set of grey pneumatic 6 pt 3/4 drive impact sockets at home. I could measure the 30mm when I get home if you needed . Pm me if so

Yeah, that has to be off. How the hell does that socket go from 30mm inner to 57.1mm outer? That would mean each of the sidewalls is like 13.55mm thick...

Looking through a few catalogs, and most either don't offer 3/4" drive metrics, don't offer 30mm in 3/4" drive, or only have 12 point chrome. As WittHay stated, 1-3/16" is almost directly interchangeable (30.16mm IIRC).

Williams (Taiwan) does offer a 6 point deep chrome with a 1-21/32" working end, Part#33730

Cripe has a GW 3/4" drive 30mm impact. Just checked my GW catalog and the working end is 1.732". Just a hair under 1-3/4" and can't beat the price (Just make sure to request actual shipping cost before paying).

I ordered a Stahlwille 30mm 6 point. Tried a 1-3/16 12 point that I had, it was a loose fit, the long extension compounds that problem. Thanks dutchgray and all the forum members that helped.

Aloha,
30mm = 1.181099" so wouldn't a 1 1/8" socket work or would it be a little tight because of the .000099" ? They have 1 1/8" 3/4" drive 6 pt. sockets which are quite common. Oops, must have used the wrong numbers. 30mm = 1.1875" which would be 1 3/16". Sorry about that and there are also 1 3/16" 6 pt impact sockets on Amazon.

1-1/8" was universally standard for tractor frame bolts for decades. The only place 1-3/16 come into play are ac fitting on England built Ford tractors. What brand and model tractor is it?

i needed 30mm sockets for a Verstile 256 that was built in the 80's. There is a drop axle housing right under the cab and loader
