Time for (more) expansion.
This time it's an American Steel Span 30x39x15 P-model Quonset Hut by Crown Steel Builds, PA. One 16x10 door a single 36"-man door on the gable end.
Working on the pad right now. Putting down a base of 3/4-1 crushed limestone and 5.5", 3500psi concrete floating slab with #4 rebar on 2' grid pattern. There will be vapor barrier and low w/c mix with superP for workability and burnished finish, no fiber. The slab is +1' in all directions so the wedge anchor cone of influence doesn't compromise the edge of the slab. This is a cold storage only building.
Location is Mid-TN so light snow load and mild frost depth for a very limited time.
Putting the dump trailer to work finally. Brought in 27T of stone so far. Might need another 1/2 load yet.
