Hi everyone, just finished up the 30x40 pole barn here in NC. This is actually my second build in the last few years since we moved a year after building the last one... but hey, the three year wait was worth the extra size!
Started out with having to demolish what we referred to as the “murder shed” since the inside looked like something out of a horror movie like Saw. The outside was nice but for some reason the floor was only gravel and 20 years of moisture wreaked havoc mold etc, it was time for it to go.
There was about a 4 degree slope so there was a bit of ground prep and some tree removal but it went pretty smoothly. It’s amazing how these guys knocked this up in about 7 days.
