Moved back to Va last summer...cleared timber during the fall...excavation in December. Contracted builder out of Pa to put it under roof, and will finish the rest over the next few months.

It was what I remembered. 8/12 pitch...12' wide at the bottom...7'6" high in the center with corners sloping down about 1/3 of the way on each side. 48' long of course. I haven't got it floored yet, but have climbed up several times. It's huge! Glad to answer anymore questions or send pics. Good luck!

Thanks for that but I am in Oklahoma. I am looking into the same size structure but need to shingle the roof with brick and siding on the exterior. I was told today if I could build a metal building similar to yours it would cost less than half of what is required by HOA covenants. Thanks again and keep the pics coming!

Just a window to trim and a few more batons to complete the east wall...the south wall is about halfway complete as well. Back at it on Monday!

That's the old tractor...mid 80s Case. We also use a 4x4 Kubota. Our lane is over a mile long and we plow it in the winter. Thanks for the compliments. We love where we live. My kids are the 6th generation on this property.

Thanks...I plan on a 4" concrete slab...8" squares built in on the left bay with a lift eventually. Running pex in the floor for future hearing. Also plan a wall to close off the left bay to have a warm room. "L" staircase in the rear corner of the left bay to access the attic room. I will have some old cars/bikes and lots of old signs/car parts/lights throughout. I will insulate the whole thing eventually. I want to recycle old metal roofing as a fire resistant wainscoting at some point inside and other salvaged materials as I can. In tasteful ways. Looking forward to seeing what it becomes.

I'll take some...just getting to the attic floor. I have an extra helper tomorrow evening and plan to get it finished.
