32' wide x 38' deep x 10' high lighting plan

I've done some searching on this forum, so I think my plan will work, but a lot of the information applies to slightly different scenarios.

Dimensions are as above. This is essentially a double-deep 3 car garage. I've only got two windows on one side, each 2'x4'. The garage is fully finished and will be painted a light color, including a light grey epoxy floor.

I also have a 6' garage door on the back that has some windows. The front garage doors will not have windows.

My plan is to install eight 8' T8 flush-mounted lighting strips. Each one has 4 bulbs (this is the $40 light strip that HD sells).

I intend to install them parallel to the garage doors (perpendicular to the cars) evenly spaced front to back, with a bit of a bias towards the back to avoid having lights directly above the garage doors when they are opened. Some posts say that parallel to the cars is better, but I couldn't find one that explains the logic or why it makes much of a difference.

I'll also have a couple of 4' shop lights that will hang directly over workbenches located on the back of the garage.

This garage will be used for car maintenance and restoration as a hobby.

I built a 48wX28dX10h, basically 4 12x28 bays next to each other, each bay has its own 10x8 door.I have 17 of the fixtures you will use, place is lit up like an operating room!
I ran mine in rows of three front to back parallel to the cars, light is on the sides of the cars cutting the chance of shadows.
